The NKAD, or People's Commissariat on Un-Merikan Activites was the post revolution secret and regular police force for enforcing the goals of the post revolution government. They often enforced the Zakon Law and carried out actions against people who were considered enablers of "bourgeois degeneracy." It was ultimately disbanded after the second red terror, approximately 200 years after the revolution. Many conservatives were arrested for promoting anti-democratic and un-Merikan thought crimes.
