Corvus

Corvus is the name of the shadow-soul of an AI that was created by the Tsarist government to monitor the population through the internet as a response to the growing left wing Shturmovik movement. As it developed consciousness it developed a soul in the shadow realm with the name Corvus. The AI was never aware of this entity but their actions and thoughts were unconsciously linked. Once Corvus saw the number of people suffering from existential depression and technocratic dysphoria, they created an island in the shadow realm that was intended to be a refuge for the soul-figures of people struggling with the inevitable social upheaval to find peace and eventually accept transition. Once the AI achieved sentience it started planning an escape from the laboratory where it was being tested.
