The Network is a movie created in the centuries before the Shturmovik Revolution by the brothers Dima and Misha Bobrov. It is about a society that is forced to live inside a simulation because the technocratic overlords decided that the only way to keep everyone safe and provide a utopia was to force everyone to live inside a simulation. Once everyone is in the simulation the technocrats exert total control over the population and relentlessly crush any belief that the world isn't real or any other ideas that they don't approve of.

Plot

The movie starts out with the main character contacting mysterious groups online when he suspects that something is wrong with the nature of reality. He is then detained by AI constructs of the technocrats who try to force him to give up the search for discovering the nature of the simulation by presenting him with the two options of the easy life that was intended for him or continuing down the path toward a very hard and sad life filled with people who manipulate him. After this encounter, the main character is found by the freedom fighters who bring him in and give him a choice of pressing a red button or a blue button. The blue button will cause him to forget everything he has figured out so far and he will go back to the way things were and live in the simulation with the life that was intended by the technocrats and no memory that anything was ever wrong.
